Our Associates

Carol Bierbrier, principal and founder

Carol is a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and holds registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She is also a Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor (CCRC). Her practice includes assessment and rehabilitation of individuals of all ages who have sustained traumatic injuries resulting in cognitive, physical, behavioural, and/or psychological problems. As well, in 15 years of related practice, she has prepared in hundreds of evaluations of Future Care Needs and Costs, and Loss of Homemaking and Housekeeping Capacity, and has delivered expert testimony on numerous occasions.

Our Associates represent a number of disciplines including occupational therapists, physiotherapists and vocational and rehabilitation counselors. All of the Associates have an excellent understanding of the automotive legislation. They have experience with traumatic injuries, including brain injury, complex orthopaedic, musculoskeletal injuries, spinal cord injury, and mental health issues.

All Associates hold a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy or other health discipline from an accredited university, are in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists or professional College, and possess the minimum malpractice insurance as recommended by their professional association. Our practice carries additional liability insurance.
